Job summary

Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company seeks a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis. You will maintain cost data, analyze variances, and provide margin insights to influence operational decisions.

Responsibilities include reviewing BOM structures and standard costs in the ERP, monitoring raw material prices, and ensuring precise month-end close and inventory reconciliation, collaborating with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
CMA, ACCA, CA Intermediate or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years of cost accounting or related experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain product cost structures including raw material, packaging, labor and overhead.
Review BOMs, costing versions, and ERP master data for accuracy.
Monitor raw material prices and landed costs affecting product costs.
Analyze material usage, purchase price, production variances and drivers.
Support month-end costing, inventory movements and COGS reconciliations.
Coordinate with production and other teams to ensure accurate inventory recording.
Contribute to cost master data maintenance and cost reporting.
