Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 4-5 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and managing cost data to help control and reduce costs in the organization
• Preparing and maintaining detailed cost reports to assess the cost structure of the business
• Conducting cost analysis for various departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and other related financial documents
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory, production costs, and other related expenses
• Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts by analyzing historical data and trends
• Ensuring that all costs are recorded and reported according to accounting standards
• Liaising with other departments (such as production, procurement, and finance) to gather necessary cost information
• Conducting periodic audits to ensure cost allocation and cost control procedures are being followed
• Providing recommendations on pricing, cost reductions, and profit maximization strategies

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting
• Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CIMA) is a plus
