Job Purpose
Develop short and long-term strategic plans and performance reports for Sadara based on guidance and input from Corporate Planning consultants and the Corporate Planning Director.
Functional Duties
- Work with corporate planning consultant/director to develop short‑term and long‑term strategic plans and objectives, five‑year business plan, annual operating plan, and mid‑year accountability reports.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support within the corporate planning Department to meet Sadara’s reporting and planning calendar.
- Communicate with the various functions within Sadara to collect input for developing organizational objectives, as well as input for main operating and financial targets.
- Draft Sadara’s business plans based on guidance and input of corporate planning director and take into consideration changes in the industry/economy and the respective impact on Sadara.
- Collaborate with planning employees to develop the delivery, communication and change management of plans across different functions.
- Update planning consultants and planning managers regarding on‑going activities in order to ensure the quality and technical accuracy of corporate plans.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams that have the knowledge within the chemical industry/business to assist in the development of action plans, change initiatives, and implementation plans that support corporate objectives.
- Review business environment studies and Sadara’s outlook in the chemical field to ensure alignment of business needs with external trends.
- Co‑manage development of periodical corporate reports and outlook studies to support Sadara corporate planning objectives.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and industry best practices by actively participating in conferences and authoring articles in order to sustain a competitive advantage.
- Perform any job‑related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential: Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related filed. Preferred: MBA.
