Associate (Business Conduct & Ethics Compliance)

We are expanding in EMEA and are seeking a Business Conduct & Ethics Compliance Associate to join our Riyadh office, primarily servicing clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct BC&E reviews including gap analysis, risk assessments, maturity assessments, and assurance reviews, and assist clients in implementing recommendations.
  • Develop frameworks for addressing BC&E issues such as investor protection, consumer protection, suitability, financial promotions, marketing, market abuse, sales and trading, deposit taking, client money & assets, conflicts of interest, Chinese Walls, record keeping, investment research, data protection, privacy, whistleblowing, employee codes of conduct, and infrastructure projects involving policy transformation, system controls, monitoring, training, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Assist clients in remediating adverse regulatory findings or managing regulatory scrutiny.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of BC&E experience in reputable jurisdictions, preferably in the Middle East or UK.
  • Strong knowledge of BC&E issues and general consultancy experience with flexibility and innovation in delivery.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, economics, law, or related business fields.
  • Experience with KYC, third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and reporting systems.
  • Ability to develop templates for BC&C assignments and onsite client experience in BC&E projects.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, MBA (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in framing business issues, data analysis, business modeling, and report writing using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic skills are desirable but not essential.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
