Corporate FP&A Director

Description:
Our client is one of the key pharmaceutical groups that has regional existence in the MENA. The ideal candidate should have experience in the same sector, worked in the FP&A Function preferably with a multinational company, has exposure to oversee multi-country business, fluent in English, exposed to advanced ERP systems.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO and leading the Corporate FP&A, Data & Digital Team, this position offers an opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and shape the financial direction of the organization across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and optimize the annual budgeting process across all entities and markets; inclusive of 20+ countries.
2. Conduct the monthly Business Review cycle for all markets.
3. Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial results, variances, and trends, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with Country & Cluster GMs and Finance Teams supporting operations, sales, and manufacturing to develop accurate forecasts and inventory management strategies.
5. Act as a trusted financial advisor, guiding international teams on strategies, profitability, and cost management.
6. Identify and mitigate financial risks, safeguarding both top-line growth and bottom-line performance.
7. Prepare BoD materials and other external presentation materials.
8. Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner for a dynamic and rapidly expanding franchise.
9. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to the executive team, offering insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
10. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.
11. Analyse and interpret data to provide strategic recommendations for growth and operational efficiency.
12. Lead due diligence efforts and financial modelling for acquisitions and new market expansions.
13. Implement a best practice FP&A process including the annual Budget cycle and develop team.
14. Assess Planning system landscape and roll out new toolsets driving further digitalization in Finance.
15. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
16. Promote best practices in financial analysis and reporting across the organization.
17. Inspire and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
