Job summary

Adaapjobs is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our clients' finance team in Riyadh. The role covers day-to-day accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and strict VAT and e-invoicing compliance under ZATCA standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, SOCPA membership preferred, with 2–3 years of relevant experience and strong Excel and ERP skills. Arabic is advantageous; English is required at a basic level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; SOCPA membership preferred.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience in a multi-entity environment is required.
• Experience with ZATCA compliance, VAT, and e-invoicing is essential.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic are an advantage; English basic proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily journal entries, general ledger records, and financial postings.
• Manage AP/AR processes, invoices, expenses, and receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations and systematic account follow-ups.
• Contribute to monthly and annual closing procedures and reporting.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations across group entities and ensure adherence to local standards and ZATCA guidelines.
