???? Engagement Type: Freelance | On-Site Role

???? Benefits Provided: Visa, Return Air Tickets, Accommodation, Laundry, Transport, Daily Per Diems, and Phone Allowance

We are looking for a refined and experienced Bilingual Copywriter (English & Arabic) to support our creative and production team in delivering a prestigious gala dinner for VIPs, government officials, and international dignitaries in Riyadh. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring every piece of communication reflects the tone, prestige, and elegance expected at such a high-caliber event.

?? Role Overview:

You will be responsible for crafting, refining, and translating all written content used across the event, including guest communications, scriptwriting for emcees and speakers, ceremonial text, media collateral, and event signage. You must be confident in producing polished, culturally sensitive, and audience-appropriate bilingual content with quick turnaround in a live environment.

???? Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and translate speeches, emcee scripts, ceremonial text, and welcome messages.
  • Develop clear, engaging, and culturally resonant content for printed materials, digital media, and on-screen presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Showcaller, and Scriptwriter to maintain tone and consistency across all communications.
  • Translate and localize English content into Arabic (and vice versa), ensuring elegance and cultural accuracy rather than direct translation.
  • Provide on-site support to make real-time edits and last-minute refinements to speeches and scripts.
  • Work closely with protocol and government relations teams to ensure language meets official tone and standards.
  • Assist with editing pre-recorded video scripts, voiceover text, and onscreen titles.

? Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in bilingual copywriting (English & Arabic), preferably within events, government, or protocol-driven sectors.
  • Excellent grasp of formal Arabic and strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience writing for gala dinners, summits, or royal/government events is a must.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to deliver accurate work under tight timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret abstract creative direction into polished written material.
