Job description

Role Summary

The Corporate Personnel Manager will lead HR transformation initiatives across the organization, focusing on restructuring, workforce optimization, and strategic alignment of human capital with business objectives. This role also oversees select non-HR operational functions, ensuring seamless integration between people, processes, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Transformation

  • Design and implement HR strategies aligned with corporate goals and operational needs
  • Lead organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
  • Drive HR transformation projects including digitization, policy modernization, and cultural alignment
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for HR effectiveness, employee engagement, and retention

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning for key functions
  • Lead performance management cycles and competency-based development programs
  • Champion employee recognition, career progression, and internal mobility

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and oversee audits, investigations, and disciplinary processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Plant Management on manpower budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
  • Support non-HR operational areas such as administration, housing, or logistics (as applicable)
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including HR restructuring, transformation, and strategy

Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in chemical or construction chemicals

Strong understanding of non-HR operational functions and cross-departmental coordination

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in HRIS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
