Job description

  • Monitors all low current systems and devices: fire alarms, CCTVs, Nurse Call systems, etc.
  • Maintain real-time communications within the Technical Support team for any emergency and immediate technical support.
  • Monitors and verifies the operation of all BMS field devices, ensuring all are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoots BMS system faults and develops repair solutions. Knows how to repair minor faults including thermostat controllers, flow switches, flow sensors, and other related devices.
  • Monitors BMS for changes outside of normal operating parameters and reports these to the Shift Supervisor/Engineer.
  • Maintain all assigned logs and records legibly and in detail.
  • Knowledgeable in preparing BMS schedules for Chillers, Pumps, Boilers, lighting, etc.
  • Troubleshoot or escalate end-user queries and system/device failures.
  • Assist the Shift Supervisor/Engineer in maintaining an acute awareness of any operational issues during the shift.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor/Engineer.
  • Responsible for tracking and recording the status of the operating system using control system tools.
  • Ensure that all monitoring equipment and devices are in excellent working condition.
  • Communicate all maintenance and repair actions in writing for information to management as required.
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Monitors and controls the Fire pump system, motors, sewage pump, electrical system, water system, ventilation elevator control in the building.
  • Monitors fire detection alarm systems, such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, sprinklers, and emergency exits, in coordination with Safety Function.
  • Maintain housekeeping inside the Control Room and its premises.
  • Monitor any other equipment integrated with BMS and send reports or notifications to the concerned party.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience on any low voltage system and devices.
  • Graduate of any mechanical, electrical, or electronics courses.
  • Technician Certification is an advantage.
  • Technical and Computer Skills.
  • Good and strong Communication Skills.
  • Can prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports as advised.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and methods, providing information and/or advising others.
