Control System Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical direction on electrical, instrumentation and control systems installation, including loop checks, system tests during start-up, commissioning
  • Being familiar with Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECEx)
  • Collaborating the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers
  • Developing Control System Software according to technical specifications including software coding, validation, and verification, to guarantee the overall control systems quality before site commissioning
  • Creating and maintaining Control SW Libraries, fostering Control Systems Continuous Improvement process, implementing Lesson Learn (LL) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Required Qualifications
  • Have BSc. or MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Be proficient in industrial PLC programming languages and configuration tools. Sound knowledge of main industrial network communication protocols and standards and on control system algorithms design and dynamic systems model’s design
  • Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others
  • Be fluent in spoken and written Arabic & English.
  • Be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia without company sponsorship or time restriction.
