Job description

The person will be leading the contracts function for projects within the organization. Responsible for safeguarding the company legally and ensuring that all legal safety measures are appropriate and implemented as per rules and regulations to avoid any matters being left to litigation.

Description
  1. Commercial Contract Management and legal compliance.
  2. Working with different levels of personnel within the organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy.
  3. Responsible for all procurement management, contract management and administration, budget and cost control, variation and claims management, and the determination of final accounts on projects.
  4. Coordinate actions with internal procurement and project teams.
  5. Establish and maintain effective contract management frameworks (such as Contract Lifecycle Management systems) and structures to manage all organizational supply arrangements.
  6. Report status of current contract processes to management.
  7. Resolve any existing contract conflicts.
  8. Create language standards and rules for existing and new contracts.
  9. Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
  10. Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied.
  11. Follow-up to guarantee contractual payments have been made.
  12. Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization.
