Job summary

A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage contract documentation and compliance within mining and industrial projects. The candidate will support site teams, track contract performance, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. This role is ideal for an organized professional with a degree in a related field and experience in contract administration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a contracts administration role on mining or industrial projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC, EPC is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in remote or rotation-based site environments.

Job description

Key Responsibilities: Contract Administration:

  • Assist in the administration of main contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, correspondence, amendments, and deliverables.
  • Track key contract dates, such as milestones, deadlines, and payment schedules.
  • Support the preparation of contract close-out documentation and lessons learned.
Document & Records Management:
  • Log, manage, and control contract-related documentation in line with project and company procedures.
  • Ensure that contract documents are properly filed, updated, and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Support audits by providing relevant contract documents and data.
Support to Site Teams:
  • Assist site engineers, procurement, and project controls with contract-related inquiries.
  • Coordinate the submission and tracking of requests for information (RFIs), variations, and approvals.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with contractual requirements including insurances, bonds, and licenses.
Progress Reporting & Compliance:
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance metrics.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, contract status summaries, and input for project reporting tools.
  • Flag potential risks, deviations, or delays in contract execution to senior contract personnel.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience in a contracts administration role, preferably on mining or industrial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document control systems.
  • Ability to work in a site-based environment, including under remote or rotation-based schedules.
