Position Title: Contract Manager

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate the contract award process.
  2. Develop contract documents, including tender documents.
  3. Manage the owner approval process.
  4. Monitor contract correspondence.
  5. Manage claims avoidance activities.
  6. Coordinate contract execution.
  7. Maintain contract documents.
  8. Process contractor documents.
  9. Administer project schedules.
  10. Manage contract changes.
  11. Oversee risk management activities.
  12. Assist the Project Controls Manager with project reporting.
  13. Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies, manuals, and procedures.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • At least 15 years of experience in contract management, including responsibility for managing large projects and supervising various types of contracts across all project stages.
  • Experience in managing pressure distribution, contract drafting, bid evaluation, award processes, contractor performance monitoring, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Technical and administrative knowledge of engineering/construction contracting practices, government procurement, and commercial policies.
  • Proven ability in pricing, contract drafting, negotiations, and managing major contracts and subcontracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferably, experience working on a global scale, especially in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
