Job Description Summary
The Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist maintains and audits procedures, plans, systems and conducts high.-level analytics .- which includes but not limited to: patient safety, accreditation activities, regulatory inspections, policies and procedures compliance, clinical and environmental risk management, and related data management .- to ensure JHAH’s optimal use of resources and timely achievement of project timeframes related to continuous quality improvements.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
  • Finalize reports that outlines the levers that drive productivity timely processing and relative areas of waste or inefficiencies were applicable to higher levels of management
  • Develop relations with key stakeholders in internal andor external business segments and utilize various quality improvement methodologies ie PDSA LeanSigma etc to eliminate waste or inefficiencies
  • Effectively communicate with the proponents and stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding
  • Recommend finalized performance improvement projects that are in line with the organizations strategic goals and initiatives
  • Provide annual andor periodic training and development on quality management concepts


Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree: Nursing, Quality, Clinical, Allied Health, management, or other Health Care related discipline.

Professional Certifications Required
REQUIRED:
Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) PREFERRED:
.- Certified Professional in Project Management Professional (PMP).
.- Accreditation or Quality related projects/experiences/certifications

Years of Experience
Minimum 9 years' experience in business improvement, continuous quality initiatives and/or project management (ideally in a healthcare setting).
