Essential Responsibilities:
Communicate with the pump design team to understand product testing parameters.
Streamline company pump testing procedures in line with customer requirements.
Conduct performance, mechanical and NPSH tests in accordance with the testing procedures.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to troubleshoot and resolve pump performance issues.
Ensure all pump tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
Prepare pump performance, mechanical and NPSH test reports for customer submission.
Present the Pump Performance activity in front of Inspection Agencies.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in pump or compressor testing.
Knowledge of centrifugal vertical and horizontal pumps.
Knowledge of Pump Testing Standards (API 610 and HI 14.6).
Familiarity with testing equipment and test procedures.
Basic instrumentation knowledge for using flow transmitters, pressure transmitters, etc.
Basic electrical knowledge for connecting lab LV and MV motors.
Experience using VFD to operate LV and MV motors.
Strong communication skills for reporting test results to team members and clients.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of industrial safety protocols and ability to adhere to them.
