Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking a qualified Project Manager to be based in Al Jawf. The ideal candidate will possess PMP certification and over 5 years of relevant experience, coupled with a strong understanding of PMO standards. Responsibilities include managing projects and advising on best practices in project management and consulting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of extensive relevant Project Management experience, preferably in the public sector.
• Strong background in PMO setup, activation, and operation.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PMO Consulting Services, Project Management Support, and Portfolio/Program Management.
• Manage consulting projects and project teams.
• Establish Project Management Framework and Reporting Framework.

Our client is currently looking for a qualified Project Manager candidate who will be based in Al Jawf and who will be responsible for delivering services around the below areas:
• PMO Consulting Services (e.g. PMO Maturity Assessment, PMO Setup and Launch, PMO Operations Management, PMO Optimization, etc.)
• Project Management Services (e.g. Projects Management Support, Project Planning and Scoping, Change Management, Project Management Framework Development, Performance Management and Reporting Framework, etc.)
• Portfolio / Program Management Services (e.g. Portfolio/Program Management Support, Portfolio/Program Planning, Portfolio/Program Change Management, etc.)

Desired Candidate Profile

The client is looking for candidates who meet the following specifications:
• PMP certification, preferred.
• having 5+ years of extensive relevant Project Management experience, preferably within the Public sector.
• having experience in managing Consulting projects and managing project teams.
• having strong background and understanding of PMO setup, activation and operation.
• having strong background and understanding of PMI s standards, practices and principles.
• having strong skills in project planning, budgeting, project management, risk management, team utilization, quality assurance, and time management.
• willing to relocate to Al Jawf city
• preference will be given to those available to join immediately
• must be speaking both Arabic and English languages
• must have previous Consulting experience
