Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage the care of new and follow-up patients at Riyadh Hospital from consultation through to completion of treatment.
  2. Maintain accurate and clear medical records.
  3. Ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols and achieve medical continuity of care.
  4. Provide advice to clinical, scientific, and administrative staff.
  5. Facilitate ongoing training under the guidance of the Medical Director, in line with General Medical Board requirements, best practices, and Riyadh Hospital Policies & Procedures.
  6. Take responsibility for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and documentation of activities to support revalidation.
  7. Comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, JCI, etc.
  8. Ensure the credentials, privileges, and competencies of subordinates are up to date.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
  • Saudi Board Certified or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience after obtaining the required qualification; five years if the credential is from the second category according to SCFHS regulations. For subspecialties, the required training must be fulfilled.
  • Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a consultant is highly preferred.
  • Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, ALSO, depending on the specialty, are highly required.

  • Profound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Commitment to the ethical standards of the medical profession.
