ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

This hospital has a 320-bed capacity and is situated in the holy city of Madinah. They serve the needs of the National Guard personnel, their dependents, eligible Saudi civilians, and VIP patients in the Western region. The hospital has the following services:

Laboratory Medicine, Medical Imaging, Dentistry, Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care Unit, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Family Medicine, Infection Prevention & Control, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Medical Education, Primary Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

If you wish to apply for this position, you will require the following to qualify as a consultant with this institution, and as per the licensing authorities:

1. 3 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
2. 3 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:

• UK – CCT
• USA – American Board
• Canada – Canadian Fellowship
• Ireland – CSD/CSCST
• Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)
• France – DES/DESC
• Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS.

Bonus: ½ Months’ salary – End of contract

Education allowance for up to 3 school age children from year 1 to year 9 of SR 23,000 per child per year in or outside of Saudi Arabia. Those in years 10,11,12 receive an additional SR 5,000 per year.
