About the Hospital

This 325-bed National Guard hospital, opened in 2002, provides healthcare services to National Guard personnel, dependents, eligible Saudi civilians, and VIP patients in the Al Ahsa region of eastern Saudi Arabia. It offers comprehensive medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, and gynecological care, with four operating rooms and two day surgery rooms.

Qualifications Required

Applicants must qualify as a consultant with:

  • 2 years of consultant experience in a Western hospital
  • 2 years post-specialist qualification from countries including the UK (CCT), USA (American Board), Canada (Canadian Fellowship), Ireland (CSD/CSCST), Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship), France (DES/DESC/CIS/DIS/French Board), Germany (Facharzt with sub-specialty board), or other European countries according to SCFHS equivalence tables.

  • Salary: To be advised
  • Bonus: Half a month's salary at the end of the contract
  • Contract duration: 1 or 2 years, renewable
