Qualifications

Job description

To manage the care of new and follow-up patients at Riyadh Hospital from consultation through to completion of treatment.

To maintain accurate and clear medical records.

To ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols and achieve medical continuity of care for the Patients.

To provide advice to clinical, scientific, and administration staff.

To facilitate own training under the direction of the Medical Director, in accordance with General Medical Board requirements, best practice, and Riyadh Hospital Policies & Procedures and protocols.

To take responsibility for CME and documentation of activity in support of revalidation.

To comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, JCI, etc.

To assure the credentials, privileges, and competencies of subordinates.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
  • Saudi Board Certified or equivalent is required;
  • Experience of at least three years after obtaining the required qualification (Saudi Board or an equivalent), or a minimum of five years if the credential is from the second category according to SCFHS regulations. For subspecialties, the candidate should have fulfilled the required training.
  • Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a consultant is highly preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, ALSO certification depending on the specialty is highly required.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Profound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Commitment to the ethical code of the profession and the medical field.
  • Good communication and people management skills.
  • Leadership skills and emotional/social intelligence.
