Consultant - IT Infrastructure Job

ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization's perspective.

To support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Elm's core IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and data center operations. This role ensures high availability, security, and scalability of systems to provide reliable and efficient foundational support for the organization's digital operations.

• IT Infrastructure Deployment and Maintenance
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and networking hardware.
• Apply patches, updates, and perform routine maintenance to ensure system stability.
• System Performance and Availability
• Monitor infrastructure performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure continuous availability of digital services.
• Infrastructure Security and Compliance
• Implement security protocols to protect infrastructure components.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Data Center and Network Support
• Support data center operations and manage network components.
• Ensure connectivity, redundancy, and scalability across infrastructure layers.
• Technical Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations and changes.
• Prepare reports on system status, incidents, and improvement recommendations.
  
  

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic And Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferably
  
  

Years And Nature Of Experience

• 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in a related industry
