Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Take on the role of consultant in Gastroenterology at a prestigious hospital, where you will provide specialized care for patients with digestive system disorders, drive research initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, and ensure the implementation of advanced gastroenterology services and protocols.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides high-quality gastroenterology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in gastroenterology.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in gastroenterology.

Language
