Job Description for Medical Consultant in Blood Diseases

The role involves managing patient care from consultation to treatment completion at Riyadh Hospital, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring consistent treatment in accordance with established protocols. The candidate will provide advice to clinical, scientific, and administrative staff, facilitate their own training under the Medical Director, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, and JCI. Responsibilities also include overseeing the credentials, privileges, and competencies of subordinates.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Saudi Board Certified or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years' experience post-qualification; five years if from the second category per SCFHS regulations
  • Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a consultant preferred
  • Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, and ALSO as per specialty requirements
