Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring the project progresses according to schedule and specifications.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring clear communication and a collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards and that all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify any potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Enforce site safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all team members adhere to safety procedures and use proper protective equipment.
Qualifications

  • Experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
  • Proficiency in project management software and construction tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
