ROLE OVERVIEW

Construction Director of Mobility Infrastructure – PMO

To support the Development Proponent with design and implementation of a world-class, technologically advanced transportation system for the Trojena Mountain Resort in coordination with the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT). The role is critical in creating an innovative, sustainable, and efficient mobility ecosystem that supports the resort’s visitor experience and operational excellence.

The role is to support to the development team/s for the transportation infrastructure design and construction effectively making them a more intelligent Client. It demands a comprehensive approach to mobility for Trojena transportation as a fully integrated, intelligent system which blends technology with environmental stewardship whilst creating a benchmark for future mountain destination mobility solutions with compliant Health & Safety and Fire Life Safety standards.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years’ Project/Construction Management experience
  • 7+ years’ experience of delivering multi-modal integrated transport systems in constrained environments
  • Experience of large-scale multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Engineering, Project and Construction Management principles, practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
  • Budget, cost and profitability management skills
  • Knowledge of resource management tools
  • Strategic Thinking: ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture
  • Team Leadership and Development: ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others
  • Facilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution Skills: ability to build a strong network and relationships at executive and senior levels with technology and solutions, customers and supplier groups

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Civil, Mining, Structural or comparable. Required
  • Post Graduate Qualification: Project or Change Management. Preferred
  • Post Graduate Qualification: Negotiation Skills, Mediation, Arbitration or similar. Preferred
  • Project Management/Engineering Professional certification or a chartership/fellow. Preferred
  • Accredited Contracts Management. Preferred.
