WSP is seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to lead the delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project in Riyadh. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure works under a PMC framework. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of industry experience with strong capabilities in project execution, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Provide overall leadership and direction to the construction teams on-site, ensuring successful delivery in line with project timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Act as the key interface between the client, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, project specifications, and HSE standards.
Oversee construction planning, progress monitoring, resource allocation, and risk management.
Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams including civil, MEP, and infrastructure professionals.
Chair site progress and coordination meetings; provide high-level reporting to stakeholders.
Support in resolving technical and commercial issues and ensure timely decision-making.
Drive project compliance with local regulations, international standards, and best practices.
Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables, documentation, and post-completion support.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
20+ years of relevant experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Minimum 5–10 years in a PMC environment with experience working directly with clients and contractors.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure systems such as roads, utilities, transportation, bridges, or tunnels.
Proven ability to manage large teams and complex stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
