Qualifications

JOB PURPOSE

The Compliance Lead is responsible for overseeing and ensuring your strict adherence to all compliance requirements, regulations, and standards related to the facility management project at the Kingdom's Airport Authority (KAIA) Aerodrome. This role plays a critical part in mitigating risks, minimizing legal exposure, and ensuring smooth project execution.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

•Compliance Management

oDevelop, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance program for the project.

oIdentify, analyze, and interpret relevant compliance requirements, including:

Laws, Decrees, and Regulations issued by KSA Government departments, Statutory Bodies, and entities.

Building regulations, fire prevention regulations, occupational health and safety codes and standards.

Saudi Arabia labor law regarding nationalization of jobs (Saudization).

Airport regulations (including the aerodrome manual).

Local Health and Safety and environmental statutes.

Contracting Authority policies, procedures, rules, and standards.

Industry best practices.

oMaintain a comprehensive register of all applicable compliance requirements.

oProactively identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

oConduct regular compliance audits and inspections to identify and address any non-conformances.

oPrepare and submit monthly compliance reports to the Contracting Authority, detailing activities, status updates, and any identified issues.

oLiaise with relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies, and the Contracting Authority on compliance matters.

•Standards and Certifications

oOversee the implementation and maintenance of relevant ISO standards, including:

ISO 9001: Quality Management

ISO 14001: Environmental Management

ISO 45001: Health and Safety Management

ISO 41001: Facility Management

ISO 55001: Asset Management

ISO 50001: Energy Management

oEnsure the development and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001.

oDevelop and implement a Health and Safety Plan following ISO 45001 guidelines.

oDevelop an Asset Management System (AMS) compliant with ISO 55001.

oDevelop an Energy Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 50001 principles.

oCoordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

oOversee your efforts to achieve and maintain relevant certifications.

•Training and Awareness

oDevelop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of compliance requirements and best practices among your staff.

oFoster a culture of compliance within your organization.

•Documentation and Recordkeeping

oMaintain comprehensive records of all compliance activities, audits, reports, and certifications.

oEnsure all compliance documentation is readily accessible and up to date.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

•Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance management within a construction or facility management environment.

•Demonstrated knowledge of relevant KSA laws, regulations, and industry standards related to airport facility management.

•Understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 41001, ISO 55001, ISO 50001) is preferred.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

•Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant compliance management software (if applicable).

EXPERIENCE

•Proven experience in developing and implementing a compliance program.

•Experience in conducting compliance audits and inspections.

•Experience in managing and mitigating compliance risks.

•Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal departments.
