Job summary

Shanahan Engineering seeks a Commissioning Leader for a large petrochemical complex extension project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning efforts with a team of discipline specialists to ensure compliance with contract obligations and project schedules.

The role requires extensive petrochemical commissioning experience (>10 years), strong IT/Data systems knowledge, and proficiency with OPERCOM and ICAPS tools.

Qualifications

• The position requires a high level of knowledge across petrochemical site activities with multi-discipline specialists and over 10 years of experience.
• Specific skills include a process/operations background and expertise with OPERCOM® and ICAPS© tools.
• Experience guiding EPCC contractor pre-commissioning and commissioning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Witness and lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to meet acceptance criteria and program standards.
• Review contractor documentation within the team and manage interfaces with other disciplines, contractors, vendors and proponent.
• Monitor and report contractor progress, prioritize based on critical path and schedule, and support dossier preparation for handover.
