We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Ad Damman, Tanzania. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute local sales strategies to increase market share and revenue in import and export activities.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to meet targets and align with regional and headquarters goals.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships through joint visits and partnership development.
• Manage forecasting and budgeting processes aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze market data and competitor activities; prepare and submit regular reports.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline via CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
• Collaborate with HQ, regional offices, and operations to provide tailored solutions and manage cargo efficiently.
• Work with Credit Control to ensure timely payments and proper account management.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in CRM systems to support strategic decisions.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, commerce, or related field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in trade, sales, and marketing within the container shipping, logistics, or liner industry.
• Proven expertise in customer relationship management, port operations, and equipment management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
