Commercial Manager
Job description
Job Purpose/Summary:
- To establish reliable, honest and supportive relationships with the clients.
- To actively promote latest and most suitable repair and strengthening solutions.
- To define and implement, in coordination with the Business Development Manager, commercial strategy.
- To oversee, review and direct the actions of the team during the tendering process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To identify tenders and opportunities in the market and actively pursue them.
- To propose and present the most suitable technical solutions.
- To ensure that all risks and assumptions in the commercial proposal are correctly defined, studied, and quantified.
- To liaise with technical and commercial teams from head office.
- To negotiate commercial terms with potential clients and suppliers.
- To review and finalize sub-contracts.
- To manage the commercial platform.
- To encourage close working relationships among the commercial team.
Requirement:
- Experience of 3-5 years in a commercial role in the Middle East. Strengthening and repairs market knowledge will be a strong advantage.
- Customer-oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and dedicated to achieving set targets and developing new skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher required.
