Manage commercial licensing and utilize image rights commercially in line with brand guidelines whilst protecting SPL intellectual property and support developing an engaging fan experience. Managing the commercial licensing program for the Saudi Pro League. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with licensees, negotiating, and overseeing licensing agreements, and ensuring the integrity of the league's brand and intellectual property.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee the granting of licenses to third-party companies for producing and selling official merchandise.
- Monitoring and enforcing adherence to licensing agreements and brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure licensees meet quality standards and maintain the league's brand integrity.
- Negotiating licensing terms and agreements with potential partners.
- Identify and qualify potential licensing partners across various product categories.
- Negotiate and manage licensing agreements, ensuring terms are favorable to the league.
- Oversee the production, distribution, and quality control of licensed products.
- Monitor the marketplace to identify and address any unauthorized usage of league IP.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the league's licensing program.
- Analyze licensing program performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Managing e-commerce platforms or official team stores for online merchandise sales.
- Managing players image rights plan, promotions and deals.

- Developing and implementing a merchandising strategy for the league, including product selection, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Developing and implementing the players image rights strategy for the league, including player persona, rate card, marketing strategy and sales plan.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in commercial licensing activities.
- Manage a team of licensing coordinators and specialists.
