The Client:

Our client is a leading name in the Food & Beverage sector within the FMCG landscape across Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a Commercial Director to lead growth efforts and deliver commercial excellence across key sales channels.

The Role:

As the Commercial Director, you will take full ownership of the commercial performance for the Food & Beverage portfolio across Saudi Arabia. This strategic role requires strong leadership in managing distributor partnerships, driving revenue growth, and building long-term channel strategies across Retail, Food Service, and QSR. You'll be instrumental in creating a scalable and sustainable model aligned with the company's regional goals.

  • Lead and manage key distributor relationships in KSA, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans tailored to each sales channel.
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, and trade terms in collaboration with distributor teams.
  • Drive execution excellence in-market through measurable KPIs and consistent tracking.
  • Build and develop a high-performing local commercial team, capable of scaling with the business.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with supply chain, finance, and marketing on business priorities.
  • Deliver full commercial P&L for the region, with direct responsibility for Retail, Food Service, and QSR channels.
  • Regularly report on performance, opportunities, and risks to senior leadership.
  • Strengthen the company's route-to-market approach and distributor capabilities through joint business planning.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 12+ years of commercial leadership experience, with at least 5+ years managing distributor-led models within KSA.
  • Proven success in the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Foodservice sector.
  • Must speak fluent Arabic for effective communication and leadership in the Saudi market; English fluency is also essential.
  • Strong P&L ownership background with experience across Retail, Food Service, and QSR channels.
  • A collaborative leader with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and distributor networks.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset, ready to build infrastructure while delivering short-term wins.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on execution and sustainable growth.
