Job description

Role Title: Collector & Credit Analyst, GG

Location: Riyadh

The CI2C Collector & Credit Analyst is the main contact with customers through face-to-face visits to ensure timely collection in line with customer payment terms. They serve as an escalation point for credit assessment & control, cash application, and collection performance, holding a Credit Authorization threshold of up to 3 MEUR as total exposure.

This position primarily ensures an effective collection cycle/process with public accounts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including NUPCO and other direct public accounts, to ensure timely payments, resolve disputes/claims swiftly, assess customer credit risks, and facilitate order release and financial decisions. The role involves 40% field visits and 60% office-based activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage sensitive collection activities and customer claims investigations.
  2. Oversee full collection activities for public accounts in KSA, including physical visits.
  3. Own the Public Accounts Receivables (A/R) activities in KSA.
  4. Control and manage customer dunning procedures as per collection strategy.
  5. Forecast and monitor KPIs such as Accounts Receivable, Overdue, Collections, OTC, SOB, and investigate deviations.
  6. Develop cash collection models, set targets, and track achievement to meet yearly cash and DSO goals.
  7. Coordinate with public accounts for payment allocation and ensure timely booking in SAP.
  8. Handle deduction documentation and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt credit note issuance.
  9. Manage order releases in SAP within thresholds.
  10. Prepare for and participate in Local Credit and Account Committees.
  11. Conduct annual credit limit assessments for public accounts, including risk scoring and financial analysis.
  12. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external public customers.
  13. Contribute to monthly closing activities and reporting, including ad hoc reports.
  14. Ensure business continuity and compliance with internal/external controls and audits.
  15. Identify process improvements and support organizational change initiatives.
  16. Serve as the main point of contact for collection activities with KSA public accounts.

Geographic Scope:

  • Manage CI2C and full collection activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with potential scope expansion.

Education:

Higher education in economics or finance; university degree with accounting, finance, or credit management qualification (AAT or equivalent) preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in public account collection cycles, with a strong understanding of credit management concepts and tools.
  • Experience with end-to-end CI2C processes and process redefinition.
  • Proven track record in managing efficiency/cash-flow improvement programs and customer negotiations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Good understanding of financial statement analysis and credit limit reviews.
  • Technical skills in SAP and High-Radius are advantageous.

Languages:

Fluency in Arabic (reading & writing) and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
