Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bending machines (knowledge of TRUMPF machines is a plus).
• Assist in debugging operational or programming issues to produce high-quality laser-cut parts.
• Work with and inspect parts according to blueprints.
• Maintain high quality standards by ensuring parts passed to subsequent work centers meet quality requirements.
• Work with measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
• Assist in CNC operational activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet deadlines.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain CNC bending machines, work area, and tools through regular 5S and TPM activities.
• Participate in daily shop floor management meetings and be an active member of SYNCHRO Plus activities (SFM, TK, IK).
• Contribute actively to departmental SYNCHRO events and tasks for the CNC operating area.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Minimum of 3 years of experience with CNC bending equipment. Blueprint reading skills are required. Prior manufacturing experience is essential.
