Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Cluster Sales Manager - KAFD, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieve budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, pro-active approach to driving revenue performance.
  2. Work closely with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team, collaborating on account planning and sales activations to help drive revenue performance into the cluster hotels.
  3. Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support our market share.
  4. Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of the cluster hotels.

Account Management.

  1. Manage and maintain key relationships with existing KAFD accounts.
  2. Within your region, act as the primary liaison for all government partners and agencies, managing and developing relationships to drive revenue and enhance visibility of your cluster.
  3. Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, Six Senses, and Luxury and Lifestyle Roadshows and trade events.
  4. Proactively address client needs as needed, acting as the primary liaison between the client and the hotel to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  5. Write and implement the sales plan, contract, set sales targets by segment, client, and prospect, undertake advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, working with the revenue manager for rate setting.
  6. Continuously focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resorts and spa, including Six Senses. Sales strategies and tactics will be regularly assessed for relevance and effectiveness.
  7. Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  8. Operate the cluster in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, ensuring documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communication standards, product and service standards, host management practices, and budget controls are maintained for successful operations.
  9. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across the assigned territories.

Qualifications

To execute the role of Cluster Sales Manager - KAFD, I must have the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, Hotel or Business Management, and more than five years of senior sales and marketing experience.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia at the time of application.
