Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Cluster Reservations & Revenue Manager, I will support the Cluster Revenue & Distributions Director to manage the efficient operation of the Revenue/Reservations department, providing exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort, spa, and Six Senses.
  2. Setup of PMS & CRS to guide and evaluate room selling strategies.
  3. Manage inventory availability, pricing, and daily fluctuations in coordination with the reservations team and the Cluster Revenue & Distributions Director.
  4. Develop overall pricing strategies to ensure target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the business.
  5. Maintain thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered, including room types, locations, rates, packages, credit policies, and reservation coding.
  6. Process advance deposits on reservations.
  7. Track future room availabilities based on reservations.
  8. Implement allotment releases and closeouts for resorts by category, updating all channels to maximize sales.
  9. Review competitive shops regularly to identify market trends and strategies.
  10. Review reservations daily for completeness and accuracy of guest information and codes.
  11. Review cancellations, no-shows, groups, blocks, and allotments regularly.
  12. Ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are enforced.
  13. Develop sales strategies to maximize revenue across all streams and optimize distribution channels.
  14. Monitor market trends, pick-up patterns, and lead times.
  15. Promote a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  16. Ensure legal, statutory, financial, safety, and service standards are maintained for smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications

To succeed as Cluster Reservations & Revenue Manager, candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a Revenue & Reservations Manager in a similar hotel role; more than three years preferred.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
