Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. With 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a spa. Job Description

The Spa & Wellness Manager is responsible for curating and delivering an exceptional wellness journey at Raffles& Fairmont, seamlessly integrating the spa, fitness, and overall well-being offerings for guests and colleagues. This leadership role ensures the highest standards of personalized service, brand alignment, financial performance, and team development. As a Raffles & Fairmont brand ambassador, the Spa & Wellness Manager brings emotional luxury to life through thoughtful rituals, holistic programs, and unforgettable moments of care.



Qualifications

1. Strategic Leadership


  • Develop and implement a holistic wellness strategy that aligns with Raffles & Fairmontultra-luxury positioning and wellness philosophy.


  • Lead business planning, annual budgeting, and capex development for the Spa & Wellness division.


  • Create long-term vision for spa and wellness innovation, including new treatments, retail concepts, and lifestyle experiences.


  • Actively participate in hotel executive and wellness cluster meetings.


2. Operational Excellence


  • Oversee all areas of spa operations: treatments, wellness therapies, fitness, relaxation areas, guest journey, and retail.


  • Ensure daily operational excellence through regular walkthroughs, LQA audits, ALLSafe protocols, and preventive maintenance coordination.


  • Develop and implement SOPs to ensure consistency, safety, hygiene, and service quality.


3. Guest Experience & Personalization


  • Design and implement unique wellness experiences that reflect the local culture and the Raffles & Fairmont Emotional Wellbeing pillars.


  • Personalize guest journeys through pre-arrival profiling, in-treatment customization, and post-stay recommendations.


  • Lead VIP coordination, guest recovery, and guest preference mapping.


4. Team Leadership & Culture


  • Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate and professional wellness team, fostering a culture of care and excellence.


  • Conduct regular performance reviews, development plans, and team engagement sessions.


  • Align team behaviors with Raffles & Fairmontvalues, ensuring cultural and emotional intelligence in all interactions.


  • Lead departmental briefings, wellness education, and cross-training programs.


5. Financial & Revenue Management


  • Manage spa P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and achieving targeted revenues and GOP.


  • Oversee inventory, procurement, and cost controls for treatments, linen, uniforms, and retail.


  • Implement strategic promotions, upselling training, and dynamic pricing.


  • Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing teams to drive wellness revenue channels (e.g., packages, retail, memberships).


6. Sales, Marketing & Branding


  • Drive annual wellness marketing calendar, including events, retreats, seasonal offers, and partnerships.


  • Ensure alignment with Raffles brand standards across all collateral, signage, and treatment menus.


  • Represent Spa & Wellness in media opportunities, VIP briefings, and site inspections.


  • Partner with PR and marketing for local and international brand exposure.


7. Sustainability & Compliance


  • Ensure the use of sustainable products, reduce single-use plastics, optimize energy and water consumption, and promote environmental awareness among the team to deliver responsible luxury in every guest experience.


  • Ensure full compliance with ALL Safe standards, hygiene protocols, and health regulations.


  • Coordinate emergency and safety training specific to spa and fitness environments.



Additional Information

  • Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.


  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening stages.


  • Experience in Pre- Opening is a must.


  • A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
