Duties and Responsibilities

As Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. With the support of the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, my key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieve budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across the assigned territories. Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, pro-active approach to driving revenue performance.
  2. Work closely with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team, collaborating on account planning and sales activations to help drive revenue performance into the cluster properties.
  3. Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support our market share.
  4. Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of the cluster properties.
  5. Manage and maintain key relationships with existing accounts, focusing on luxury consortia agencies, travel advisors, and other high-value partners.
  6. Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, Six Senses and Luxury and Lifestyle Roadshows, and trade events.
  7. Proactively address client needs, acting as the primary liaison between the client and the properties to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  8. Write and implement the sales plan, set sales targets by segment and client, undertake advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, and work with the revenue manager on rates.
  9. Focus continually on revenue generation and profile building for the resort, spa, and Six Senses.
  10. Assess and adapt sales strategies and tactics to remain relevant and effective.
  11. Establish and deliver financial returns related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
  12. Ensure legal, statutory, financial, safety, and security standards are maintained for the successful operation of the properties.
Qualifications

To execute the role of Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia, the candidate must have the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience in luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications.
  • More than five years of experience in marketing and communications roles within travel, hospitality, or luxury goods sectors, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Fluent in Arabic and English.
