Job description

Cluster Director of Sales - Six Senses Saudi Arabia

Hotel: Amaala (RSIAM), Amaala, northwestern coast of the Red Sea

As Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. With the support of the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, my key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieve budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across the assigned territories.
  2. Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, proactive approach to driving revenue performance.
  3. Work closely with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team, collaborating on account planning and sales activations to help drive revenue performance into the cluster properties.
  4. Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support market share growth.
  5. Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of the cluster properties.
  6. Manage and maintain key relationships with existing accounts, focusing on luxury consortia agencies, travel advisors, and other high-value partners.
  7. Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, Six Senses and Luxury & Lifestyle Roadshows, and trade events.
  8. Proactively address client needs, acting as a primary liaison between the client and the properties to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  9. Write and implement the sales plan, including contracting, setting sales targets by segment and client, undertaking advertising, sales promotions, and publicity initiatives, working with the revenue manager on rates, and directing the Sales team.
  10. Focus continually on revenue generation and profile building for our resort, spa, and Six Senses.
  11. Assess and adapt sales strategies and tactics to remain relevant and effective.
  12. Establish and deliver financial returns related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
  13. Operate the properties in compliance with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security protocols, communication standards, and budgetary controls.

Qualifications

To succeed as Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia, candidates should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications.
  2. More than five years of experience in marketing and communications roles within travel, hospitality, or luxury goods sectors, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Fluency in both Arabic and English.
  4. Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia at the time of application.
