Role Main Purpose:

The Brand Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives that support the overall marketing strategy and enhance brand visibility. Their work involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement effective campaigns across various channels.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution: Support the development and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, social media, email, print). This includes assisting with market research, target audience analysis, and implementing tactics based on established marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: In collaboration with the internal content team and agency partners, the brand manager must write compelling pitches with strong local insights. Clear and engaging communication is crucial.
  • Reporting: Track marketing expenditures, collect and analyze campaign performance data.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Support: Assist in maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and vendors. This involves coordinating meetings, preparing presentations, and providing updates on marketing activities.
  • Social Media Oversight: The Marketing Specialist will help oversee all social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency across platforms. This involves setting strategy briefing for content creation, KPIs management, and responding to inquiries.
  • Sponsor Activation Support: Assist in the execution of sponsor activation plans and providing on-site support for events.

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in executing marketing initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge, best practices, and feedback with colleagues.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing tasks with broader team objectives, ensuring efficient project execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure brand alignment and consistency.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • Lead specific projects or campaigns, coordinating with other teams to ensure timely and successful execution.

Agency Management:

  • Oversee relationships with external agencies, including creative, digital marketing, and public relations firms.
  • Manage agency budgets and deliverables, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
  • Provide clear briefs and feedback to agencies to ensure successful project execution.

Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

Other Knowledge & Skills:

  • Effective communicator, capable of leading cross-functional discussions and influencing decisions.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player who fosters a collaborative environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding concepts, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and other external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
