Job description

As a Cloud System Administrator at Lucidya, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support our innovative data analytics solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based systems including AWS, GCP and SITE. Your expertise in cloud technologies will be instrumental in deploying, managing, and monitoring our cloud resources, as well as collaborating with development teams to optimize our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and network resources.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for security, availability, and performance of cloud systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular system audits and prepare documentation for cloud architecture.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource optimization to meet business needs.
  • Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud system administration, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience in SITE cloud is a must https://www.site.sa/en/services-and-solutions/cloud
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
