Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) Engineer with expertise in Prisma Cloud for Kubernetes (K8) and Virtual Machines (VM), focusing on multi-tenancy in cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud security posture management solutions to ensure compliance, visibility, and threat prevention across multi-tenant cloud infrastructures. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native security, Kubernetes security, and multi-tenancy architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM):
    • Implement and manage Prisma Cloud for Kubernetes (K8) and Virtual Machines (VM) across multi-tenant environments in OCI, GCP, and Azure.
    • Continuously monitor and assess cloud security posture to identify misconfigurations, compliance violations, and potential risks.
    • Develop and enforce security policies and best practices for multi-tenant cloud environments.
    • Secure Kubernetes clusters using Prisma Cloud, including workload protection, runtime defense, and compliance monitoring.
    • Implement network segmentation, pod security policies, and role-based access control (RBAC) for multi-tenant K8 environments.
    • Monitor and respond to containerized workload threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Virtual Machine (VM) Security:
    • Secure virtual machines across multi-tenant cloud environments using Prisma Cloud.
    • Implement vulnerability management, intrusion detection, and compliance monitoring for VMs.
    • Ensure secure configurations for VM instances and associated resources.
  • Multi-Tenancy Security:
    • Design and implement security controls to isolate and protect tenant workloads in multi-tenant cloud environments.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) for multi-tenant architectures.
    • Collaborate with cloud architects to design secure multi-tenant solutions.
  • Threat Detection and Response:
    • Use Prisma Cloud to detect and respond to threats in real-time across multi-tenant environments.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for security incidents and implement corrective actions.
    • Integrate Prisma Cloud with SIEM and SOAR platforms for enhanced threat detection and response.
  • Automation and Optimization:
    • Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline CSPM processes.
    • Optimize Prisma Cloud configurations for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
    • Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to enforce security policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of CSPM configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Generate regular reports on cloud security posture, compliance status, and incident response activities.
  • Collaboration and Training:
    • Work closely with DevOps, cloud engineering, and security teams to align CSPM strategies with organizational goals.
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on Prisma Cloud and multi-tenancy security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on CSPM and multi-tenancy. Hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud for Kubernetes (K8) and Virtual Machines (VM). Proven experience securing multi-tenant environments in OCI, GCP, and Azure. Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Certifications: Prisma Cloud Certified Administrator or equivalent. Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer). Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD) are a plus. Other relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud-native security tools and services. Proficiency in configuring and managing Prisma Cloud for K8 and VM environments. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). Understanding of multi-tenancy architectures and isolation mechanisms.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role may require occasional after-hours work for system maintenance and incident response. Remote work options are available, depending on location and company policy.
