Cloud Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage project constraints such as schedule, resources, and quality.
• Understand Microsoft Cloud Services, including its offerings and best practices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements collaboratively.
• Develop project charters, change management plans, and overall project management plans.
• Design change management activities for migration projects and new Microsoft Cloud Services adoption.
• Create communication plans for informing clients and employees about changes during deployment of Microsoft Cloud Services.
• Coordinate resource availability and allocation with the team.
• Monitor and control project execution, ensuring alignment with plans and budgets.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts.
• Track project progress using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Establish effective communication channels with clients regarding project activities.
• Ensure smooth project execution, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop post-project support plans to evaluate project objectives.
• Document project decisions formally.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Microsoft Cloud Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant industry-recognized cloud certifications, including Microsoft Cloud Certification, preferred.
• Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
• Experience working in a professional services or consulting organization.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Certifications like PMP, Agile PM, SAFe, or CSM are recommended.
• Certifications related to change management, such as Prosci, are recommended.
