A leading company in telecommunications is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee Microsoft Cloud Services projects. The successful candidate will manage stakeholder expectations, develop project management plans, and ensure seamless project execution. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant degree and hold recognized certifications, including cloud and project management credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional services/consulting organization is preferred.
• Experience in Agile approaches to project management is crucial.
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage project constraints (schedule, resources, quality).
• Understanding Microsoft Cloud Services, its services, and best practices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements in a collaborative manner.
• Develop project charters, change management plans, and project management plans.
• Develop change management activities in migration related projects and new Microsoft Cloud Services Adoption.
• Build a communication plan related to communicating the change to clients’ employees when deploying new Microsoft Cloud Services.
• Coordinate with the team for resources availability and allocation.
• Monitor and control project execution against the project plan and budget.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts.
• Measure project progress using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
• Build a strong communication plan with the clients for project related activities.
• Ensure Project Execution, Project Reports and Project Activities are going smooth for all stakeholders.
• Develop post-project support to ensure the measurement of project objectives.
• Ensure that project decisions are formally documented.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Microsoft Cloud Services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred relevant industry-recognized cloud certifications, including Microsoft Cloud Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, or other project management software.
• Experience in a professional services/consulting organization.
• Experience in Agile approaches to project management.
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Recommended: Relevant industry-recognized certification related to project management, e.g., PMP, Agile PM, SAFe, CSM.
• Recommended: Relevant industry-recognized certification related to change management, e.g., Prosci.
