About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified GCP Cloud Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ad Dammam. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure design, and enterprise-grade network solutions. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based network solutions using GCP services.
• Configure and manage virtual private cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, firewalls, and interconnects.
• Optimize network performance and ensure high availability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest GCP networking features and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Engineer (mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP/S.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and STP.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, VLANs, routers, and switches.
• Experience with Wireless LAN technologies including Cisco/Meraki and Aruba solutions.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and interconnect solutions.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
