Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Platform Provisioning and Management: Provisioning of Anthos, GCP, and OCI platforms; scalability enhancements; installation and configuration of Anthos clusters; validation and testing of platform readiness; collaboration with internal teams for resource provisioning.
2. Application Onboarding: Supporting application onboarding from capacity assessment to deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support on Anthos; assisting with migration and hosting of existing and new applications.
3. Cluster and Platform Operations: Kubernetes cluster management including namespace, service mesh, IAM, networking, monitoring, backups, and compliance; performance and capacity management; patching and security updates; support during deployment and release management; system health monitoring; log analysis and root cause investigations.
4. Support and Troubleshooting: Addressing issues related to DevOps pipelines, infrastructure coordination, incident management, and performance troubleshooting; supporting disaster recovery drills and business continuity.
5. Continuous Improvement and Automation: Automating platform tasks, integrating with ecosystem tools, supporting hybrid-cloud architecture, and maintaining the platform automation pipelines.
6. Day-2 Operations and SME Support: Ongoing cluster management, incident resolution, and support for Kubernetes and service mesh as a subject matter expert; guidance to development teams; participating in design workshops.
7. Documentation and Innovation: Creating and updating operational documents; contributing to platform design documentation; supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
