A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Clinical Training Coordinator to oversee clinical education programs within the Medical College. The role involves coordinating student clinical placements, ensuring quality assurance, and collaborating with faculty and healthcare institutions. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills and a relevant Bachelor's degree, along with prior experience in clinical coordination or healthcare administration.
The Clinical Training Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting clinical education programs within the Medical College. Working under the Hospital Affairs department, this role is responsible for the coordination, administration, and quality assurance of student clinical placements. The Coordinator collaborates with faculty, students, healthcare institutions, and clinical preceptors to ensure that clinical training is effectively organized, documented, and aligned with academic objectives and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of the clinical placement process , including site selection, student assignments, preceptor coordination, and scheduling.
Oversee and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical sites, preceptors, and student performance in alignment with program goals.
Maintain and update accurate records of student clinical hours, evaluations, and placement documentation .
Ensure all clinical sites and preceptors meet legal and regulatory requirements , including verification of licenses, qualifications, liability insurance, and onboarding documentation.
Facilitate and maintain affiliation agreements and contracts with clinical partners.
Serve as the primary liaison between the medical college and clinical sites to coordinate placements for incoming and current students.
Monitor and ensure timely assessment and feedback from students and preceptors during and after clinical rotations.
Organize orientation sessions for clinical preceptors and students, ensuring all parties understand roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Program Director and academic faculty , ensuring smooth delivery of clinical education.
Track and report on student progress and placement outcomes using approved data systems and tools.
Support students advising and respond to queries related to clinical training, schedules, and site logistics.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all student and site records.
Assist in continuous quality improvement efforts by collecting feedback and contributing to program evaluations and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences , Nursing , Healthcare Administration , Education , or a related field.
Experience :
Prior experience in clinical coordination , medical education , or healthcare administration is required.
Experience working in academic medical settings or with clinical training programs is preferred.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, faculty, and clinical site representatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with student information systems or clinical tracking software .
Knowledge of accreditation standards , clinical compliance , and student record management .
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
Other Requirements :
Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to clinical sites as needed.
Bilingual in Arabic and English is preferred.
