Job summary

A facilities management company in the Riyadh region is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on various equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with MEP, civil works, and will be flexible with working hours. Responsibilities include maintaining safe work conditions and reporting on job progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.
• Understanding of MEP and civil works.

• Carry out and ensure planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests within service level agreements.
• Install, test and maintain electrical distribution systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out and ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is completed on all relevant equipment daily, weekly, monthly and as planned
• Respond to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level agreements
• Carry out civil, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, repairs and installation
• Display a sound knowledge of MEP and civil related works
• Assess required resources for maintenance, repair or installation works
• Flexibility to work to shift patterns as and when required. Flexible availability for 24 / 7 rostered standby duties and emergency call outs
• Report to manager on job progress and issues on a daily basis
• Installation, testing and maintenance of HV and LV distribution systems
• Carry out fault finding. Cable containment and calculations
• Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS
• Provide progress reports on allocated work orders
• Administration and clerical duties as required by the job
• Immediately notify the manager of any safety issues or concerns. Maintain a safe place of work
• Assist in carrying out site surveys, inspections, estimations and quotations
• Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
• Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair
• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law
