Qualifications

Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Civil Quantity Surveyor to join a highly qualified and knowledgeable team on our project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain proper Quantity Surveying Sheets.
  • Measure the executed works as per the Contract Method of Measurement.
  • Compile and maintain all supporting documents and backups for the executed works and measurements, including signed NRI, QS sheets, progress records, etc.
  • Prepare and submit interim payment applications according to the contract payment mechanism and procedures, ensuring all works are measured and claimed at the end of each interim period.
  • Liaise with the Engineer’s and Employer’s quantity surveyors to verify measured quantities and process payments.
  • Participate in the assessment of variations and claims.
  • Include amounts for approved variations and/or claims in the interim payment applications as per contract provisions.
  • Prepare Contract Final Measures and Payment at Completion applications, ensuring all works are measured, verified, and claimed.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (B.o.Q) for subcontracts.
  • Verify subcontract measurements and payment applications.
  • Liaise with all project sections regarding quantity measurement, recording, and reporting.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with 3-5 years as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp
  • Good in cost monitoring and controlling
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
Preferred Skills
  • KSA experience in EPC mega projects
  • Transferrable IQAMA
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D, Power BI, and ERP software
