Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Estimation Engineer to join reputed industrial construction projects in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil estimation, particularly for equipment foundations, precast structures, and electrical substation construction. Gulf experience, especially in Saudi Arabia, will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil works.
  

  
  

• Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns for foundations, structural elements, precast works, and civil utilities.
  

  
  

• Conduct site visits, if necessary, to gather information for accurate estimation.
  

  
  

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align estimates with project execution plans.
  

  
  

• Monitor material costs, labor rates, and equipment pricing to ensure competitive bidding.
  

  
  

• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  

  
  

• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bids.
  

  
  

• Maintain and update a database of unit rates, material prices, and subcontractor quotations.
  

  
  

• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations for civil works to support accurate cost assessments.
  

  
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  

  
  

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in civil estimation.
  

  
  

• Strong knowledge of industrial civil works such as equipment foundations, precast foundations, and substation projects.
  

  
  

Skills Required:

• Proficient in estimation software such as Candy, PlanSwift, CostX, or MS Excel-based estimation tools.
  

  
  

• Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  

  
  

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  

  
  

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, material specifications, and labor productivity norms.
  

  
  

• Gulf/Saudi experience in substation construction or industrial civil projects is highly preferred.
